Experiment and Analysis of Polarization Independent optical fiber perimeter sensing system

Abstract

The problem of polarization decline has extensively existed in interferometric fiber optical sensors. In this paper depolarization effect applied on perimeter sensing system is discussed theoretically and experimentally to improve signal fading and distortion.
