Abstract

Considering current mobile service and increasing traffic trends, limitations of current mobile network has been more and more obvious and the traffic pressure to the core network has also been boosted. In order to fulfill the ever demanding traffic needs, the traffic optimization in the LTE architecture has been paid much attention. In this paper, the traffic localization, with the direct communication between different BSs, has been proposed and the SDN (soft defined network) controller has also been presented to control and manage the traffic routing.
