Highly Sensitive Strain Sensor Based on Cladding-Etched All-Fiber Acousto-Optic Tunable Filter

Abstract

A highly sensitive strain sensor based on cladding-etched all-fiber acousto-optic tunable filter is demonstrated. The strain sensor has a linear wavelength shift response to the different strains, and the sensitive of about 0.1nm/με, is achieved.
