Abstract

In this paper, we numerically investigate the mid-IR super-continuum generation in ZBLAN fiber followed by a section of silica single mode fiber (SMF) pumped by 1.55µm pulse. The evolution of pump pulses in these fibers is presented by solving the generalized nonlinear Schrӧdinger equation.
