Bending Loss in Embedded-Core Hollow Fiber

Abstract

The bending losses in an embedded-core hollow fiber (ECHF) are investigated experimentally. The results show that the bending loss of the embedded-core hollow fiber has a strong directional dependence due to the non-circular symmetric structure.
