InP-Based 5×14 Shallow-ridged Arrayed Waveguide Grating Using for PIC-Transmitter

Abstract

A 5×14 AWG with a channel spacing of 200 GHz is demonstrated. Measured insertion losses are 10 dB with a crosstalk level 15 dB. The AWG is promising for the multiplexer in PIC transmitter.
