Design and fabrication of an InP-based arrayed waveguide grating

Abstract

A 8-channel, 200 GHz channel spacing InP arrayed waveguide grating was designed and simulated by 2D FD-BPM method. The device shows the insertion loss is about −8 dB, and the crosstalk is below −16 dB.
