Nanotechnological Approaches for Improved Light Output in InGaN/GaN LEDs

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

Nanotechnological approaches have been widely explored for improved light output in InGaN/GaN light emitting diodes (LEDs). In this talk, I will introduce the application of graphene as a transparent electrode in nanorod LED, of SiO2 nanoparticle for high optical extraction, and of Ag/SiO2 nanoparticle for a localized surface plasmon LED.
