Real-time Bias Control for Optical OFDM Transmitter

Abstract

A real-time auto bias control circuit for the optical OFDM I/Q modulator with bias dithering is implemented. The Q factor is stabilized at ~24 dB during the 36 hours measurement with negligible OSNR penalty.
