Peak-to-Average Power Ratio reduction technique using a novel clipping and frequency domain filtering based on DCT/IDCT for IM/DD Optical OFDM systems with Fiber Bragg Grating

Abstract

We propose a novel clipping and filtering based on DCT/IDCT in IM/DD optical OFDM with fiber Bragg grating. The experimental results show that receiver sensitivity can be improved by more than 2dB.
