A proposal for coupling of terahertz pulse onto a subwavelength cylindrical waveguide using a polymer taper

Abstract

A polymer taper is proposed for coupling THz pulse onto a subwavelength dielectric waveguide. A coupling efficiency of 81.56% is achieved based on the optimization of the structural parameters of the polymer taper.
