Abstract

A method to reconstruct a chirped quasi-phase-matching grating by using a discrete layer-peeling algorithm is demonstrated. The coupling distribution and grating structure can be synthesized from the transmission spectrum. Experimental verification shows that the method can reconstruct the grating distribution efficiently. This method can be used an efficient approach of quality inspection on quasi-phase-matching grating.
