Abstract

This presentation proposes a new polymeric nanoparticle-based technology that offers unprecedented paradigm shift opportunity to cancer theragnosis (therapy and diagnosis). For example, chitosan-based nanoparticles were labeled or loaded of various imaging agents and therapeutic drugs which demonstrated specific cancer imaging and therapy. Nanoparticles based cancer theragnosis holds great promise for a myriad of cancer treatment.
