Abstract
Ultra-high-Q photonic crystal nanobeams cavities (Q~106) will be presented. Realization of reconfigurable optical filters that can be dynamically and reversibly tuned via electrostatic force, using coupled nanobeams, will be discussed. Tuning range of ~10nm was achieved in such system with less than 6V of external bias, and negligible steady-state power consumption.
