Radiation-hardened fiber Bragg gratings for space missions

Abstract

We developed fs-fiber Bragg gratings resistant to ionizing radiations (X or γ-rays). We demonstrated here the robustness of this sensor technology to proton fluences representative of the most challenging space missions.
