Optically induced charge transfer as the foundation for nanobot technology

Abstract

A new approach to fabricating nanobot technology based on charge transfer with optical excitation is proposed. Some general molecular robotic systems are suggested, including the possibility of a nanobot with molecular clamps for gripping and tail for locomotion.
