Bandwidth Analysis for Adaptive Optical Systems Based on Stochastic Parallel Gradient Descent Algorithm

Abstract

Based on the wavefront sensorless adaptive optical system with the stochastic parallel gradient descent (SPGD) algorithm, we analyze the bandwidth characteristics by simulating the correction process considering the temporal characteristics of the atmospheric turbulence. The results can help the bandwidth estimation for SPGD control system.
