Light Field Retargeting from Plenoptic Camera to Integral Display

Abstract

Light fields captured by plenoptic cameras have limited parallax and mismatched resolution causing shallow depth perception when viewed through integral displays. Our lightweight retargeting technique synthesizes light fields of enhanced parallax and controllable depth for immersive displaying experience.
